[Death of innocence]<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I too was human, just like you…<\/p>\n

My right to life? Sadly ignored.<\/p>\n

Therefore, I now appeal to you…<\/p>\n

O, may this vile crime be abhorred!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Made human, yet, I had no choice.<\/p>\n

Their pets received more love than I<\/p>\n

And so I ask you, \u201cBe my voice,<\/p>\n

Shout out, \u201cIt’s wrong I had to die!\u201d<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Human, like anyone you’d meet,<\/p>\n

Denied a choice that I should live,<\/p>\n

An act of malice made complete,<\/p>\n

Denied my chance much love to give.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Once human, now, I am no more,<\/p>\n

Unique, with my own DNA,<\/p>\n

Discarded smudge, some blood and gore<\/p>\n

And yet, like you in every way.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Compassion has a human soul!<\/p>\n

Then hear my cry, heed my appeal,<\/p>\n

Love’s but a two\u00adway street made whole,<\/p>\n

Both, life and love combined, reveal.<\/p>\n
