Softer than softest eiderdown<\/p>\n

A babe’s breath on her cheek.<\/p>\n

No stronger force exists on earth…<\/p>\n

Formed helpless and so weak,<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Stronger than steel entwined, a heart<\/p>\n

That reaches for and cares,<\/p>\n

A tiny babe, so vulnerable<\/p>\n

And yet in all things shares,<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A drive that reaches out for life<\/p>\n

God’s marvel! Who beholds,<\/p>\n

That this small human being is<\/p>\n

More than sheer love enfolds?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Softer yet stronger! Can it be<\/p>\n

God Himself so revealed?<\/p>\n

In Him alone who grants new life,<\/p>\n

In whom our purpose’s sealed.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Heaven forbid that we should rule,<\/p>\n

And wrong decisions make,<\/p>\n

For, Life’s not to be trifled with,<\/p>\n

Love, then, for Jesus sake.<\/p>\n
