You Can’t See Me<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You can’t see me, but I am,<\/span><\/p>\n

Everything as much as you,<\/p>\n

Like a pearl inside a clam,<\/p>\n

Hard to fathom, but it’s true.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You are big, I’m merely small,<\/p>\n

You can learn, yes, so can I<\/p>\n

Even if you’re six feet tall,<\/p>\n

Human! No \u00adone can deny.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I can hear my mother’s voice<\/p>\n

And her heartbeat gives me peace.<\/p>\n

Yet, I’m startled by loud noise,<\/p>\n

But her songs put me at ease.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I can’t see you, but I know<\/p>\n

That you love my mommy too.<\/p>\n

For I hear you tell her so,<\/p>\n

Gentle words, all know, are true.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Yes, that’s how it is meant to be.<\/p>\n

Life is never about choice.<\/p>\n

Love’s our gift that sets us free,<\/p>\n

Bet you want to hear my voice?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Love to see me crawl, then walk<\/p>\n

Show me, teach a world to see,<\/p>\n

Hear me gurgle, smile and talk,<\/p>\n

Dad, you’ll mean the world to me!<\/p>\n

Truth is, I can hardly wait<\/p>\n

What a joy that day will be,<\/p>\n

Let’s look forward to that date,<\/p>\n

Made complete, dad, mom and me.<\/p>\n
